    Angry No Support

Like two Months ago I decided to purchase an SSL Cert from ChainedSSL, and when fast and smooth. I moved to another server and now I can't use my Cert, I have 3 Days Sending [email protected] eMails asking what do I have to do? and their Answer Notthing

I would really like to ask, how can I reinstall my Cert on the New Server, it's a Cpanel Server... I tried but it gives me that the Information doesn't match

Most probably the answer will be, go to another place like ev1

I was wondering about these guys, I got an email from them trying to sell me on FreeSSL since I use InstantSSL certs now. Basically they'd give me free certs come renewal time on the Comodo versions.

Asked for more info and haven't heard a thing, good to know about lack of support. Besides, I can resell the InstantSSL product, little tougher to resell something named "FreeSSL".

The main thing about moving servers is that you have the site certificate and Private Key.
Without the Private Key that matches the certificate that was issued you just cannot do it.
The reason being that there is a 'modulus' within the Private Key and the certificate issued from the CSR created from that Private Key that must match.

If you have the certificate and private key as seperate files then you can maually edit the http.conf file and add the references to point to the files.

The references would look something like this:
    SSLCertificateFile /etc/ssl/crt/yourdomainname.crt
    SSLCertificateKeyFile /etc/ssl/crt/private.key

Optional entry if using a certificate that requires an intermediate certificate SSLCACertificateFile /etc/httpd/conf/ca.txt

    Hope this helps
