Concealing WHOIS info
I'm a web project manager, and one question I get over and over from clients is whether or not it is possible to hide WHOIS info from the public. Do certain registrars allow you to hide your contact information, or is the WHOIS info always public?
enom has a ID Protect to hide your whois info
Toeki Enterprises Co. (Accredited .WS & CentralNIC Registrar)
We accept PayPal, MoneyBookers, Credit Card, Bank Transfers and Western Union. [AWBS Reseller]
Some registrars offer the service. The number is growing
godaddy - 9.00
netsol - 5.00
enom - 6.00
Protect fly is really cheap
NameCheap.com has also just added that feature... it's $4.88/yr (per domain)
You can always the cheap route and just get a po box
I don't believe the "po box" would protect the need to display your email address associated with the domain.
For spam reasons? Then create a specific mailbox just for that.
