Wrong forum David, you should have posted at Related offers section so that companies and sysadmins can respond to your request as well.

    Hi.

I have used a few and the best by far is http://www.rack911.com/

    Definate value for money.

Just used them recently for one of my servers. Steve puts up with my annoying questions too :-P

    Greetings:

Expensive? Compared to what other choices?

Please consider that the going U.S. salary for a server administrator with 5+ years of experience is $50,000 per year plus benefits (health care, two weeks or more of vacation time, etc.).

When you add in benefits, $50,000 in salary can range from $62,500 to 66,667 per year in total cost.

Now that gets you one shift (8 hours per day; unless you want to pay 1.5 times the hourly salary for over time). Three shifts now mean $150,000 per year base cost plus benefits ($187,500 to $200,001 per year total).

Hmmm… $100 per server per month or even $2,000 per server per month can be less expensive than hiring your own system administration team.

    Thank you.

Almost none of those companies are real moral entities if i'm not mistaken. Actsupoort seems to be the exception.

    How come?

Outsourced server management may *seem* expensive at first glance.

Consider the time taken to fix problems, where an experienced admin can very quickly debug and troubleshoot problems, but you may spend hours to work out and resolve a problem, that can impact business.

You should look at the bigger picture, time does equal money. If you spend X number of hours working on a technical issue then that is X hours taken away from your other work, sales, etc.

What does that have to do with being a "moral" entity? :_)

On a serious note, We Manage Servers is a DBA of "Dynamic Net, Inc." which is a registered business entity.

    Thank you.

By outsourcing you save your time and money - so why not to use it? If you run serious e-business than you should spend you time and efforts to promote it, and servers management leave professionals.

In many countries, there is the distinction between physical and moral entities, but it seems that you don't have this in the US.

About your business, it's nice to know that it's registered, but why is this information hidden? You're not alone in this case, most of the time we find out about the true identity of the business when we get an SLA or after clicking on a "Pay now" button.

I will second that. For the price that they charge they are very good and are one of the few companys that provide 24/7 support. They are always there when you need them and fix problems pretty quickly.
Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach him to use the Net and he won't bother you for weeks.

The information is not hidden per say.

"We Manage Servers" is a registered DBA.

    See https://www.dos.beta.state.pa.us/Cor....aspx?Public=1

We don't broadcast its connection with Dynamic Net, Inc. on the basis that We Manage Servers does not provide hosting.

    Thank you.
