    What have I done?......(photoshop)

OK, so normally when I had a .psd file open (with lots of layers/elements), I could touch my cursor to a certain image and that layer would automatically become highlighted/live in the layer window, making it easier to identify stuff, and move things around.

Now though, I have apparently done something which has disabled this.

Since I don't know what it's called, or how it ever got turned on to begin with, I sure as heck don't know how I managed to turn the darn thing off. I sure do miss this feature though.

Anybody know what it's called, and/or how to turn it back on?

On the top menu go to WINDOWS---LAYERS and check it and that should bring up the layers panel.

Nope...select 'Move Tool' (cursor) and on the tool bar above, you'll see 'Auto Select Layer'...check that and you're done.

    Use Corel though...better by far

Yes, that did it. Thank you. I love that feature.

Well, not all of us have your skills EI, regardless of what program we use.
