It sounds like your needs may be better served by maintaining an in-house database of your members and their balances-to-date.
Then... when they want to fund their account, just setup an order form that plugs into any one of several payment gateways to allow them to make a payment and have the gateway send the confirmation back to a script on your side to update their balance accordingly.

I was wondering if anyone could answer me several questions about PayPal.
What is the name of variable that identifies the amount that user will be charged?
In the form it is amount, but when paypal sends the answer - there is no such variable. The only one is settle_amount, but I guess it is the amount that goes to my account after all charges like visa + transaction fee.
If anyone could help me with this, I will be very happy
You're welcome. They have helped me out numerous times. And even via a phone call. I will say their tech support is a lot better than some. I got the answer I received & it was correct on my first phone call.
PerlBill would most likely fit your needs. I use it, and I really enjoy it. It's interface is clean and understandable, I've never had any technical problem with it, and a new version is being released very soon
