From when they receive the documents - usually 24-48 hours. Try contacting them to see if there is a problem. Also, perhaps you missed their email - when you log into MCC what does it say for Processing Status?

When we signed up for Paysystems, we got access to the MCC before paying the signup fee and signing the documents.

This is our experience with PaySystems...

We applied for a PaySystems account on December 18th of last year and paid our $49 application fee. We have yet to be given any final status. The last email we received from them was on December 31st that included our IBA agreement which was signed and faxed back the same day. Not a word since. I have called them on several occasions and each time I was told that they would resend the email that should have included our final details (we were supposedly approved). I finally gave up.

Unfortunately I do not have time to fight them over a refund of our $49 or to keep calling them for followup and account activation. That should be THEIR job, not ours. It would probably take more time than the $49 is worth. We have just written off the fee as a loss at this point. Customer service, or lack thereof, speaks volumes in our case.

I am not here to bad mouth them or flame them. Just figured I would let you know how long it can take.. at least in our case. Yes, the emails and our faxes could have gotten lost in the shuffle but you I think that the $49 paid to them for the right to apply would be enough for them to follow up with US instead of US having to follow up with THEM. It's been 3 months now... no final account status and no refund if we were not approved. Attempts to log into MCC fail saying "Login Disabled for UNDERWRITING accounts"

Maybe someone from there will read this and take the initiative to contact us. Personally, I have no intention of taking up any more of our time TRYING to use their service when they should be TRYING to gain us as a client.

I will stop here. Quite honestly I am very disgusted with their lack of followup and the more I think about it, the more frustrated I get.

When I first applied, our logs showed that people from PaySystems reviewed the site the following day. I waited a week after that, and after hearing nothing else, I followed up and was finally sent the forms to fill in and fax back. The next day I heard nothing, so I contacted someone again and that put things back into motion. In the end the process took me about 2 weeks, and I'm sure it would have taken even longer if I hadn't gotten in touch with someone there several times.

In our case, yes it is. I am sure that we will never see our $49 refunded and at this point I have no interest in doing business with them even if they have approved us. But, that doesn't mean the same thing will happen to you. Our case could be that "one in a million" where something like this happens.

I may be frustrated with how our PaySystems experience has been but I can not say that this happens every time nor do I have any experience with their services other than what we've seen during our application process and as a buyer from a site that uses them on occasion. So, in all fairness I say that you should not cancel or change your situation with them based on what I have shared. Ours could very well be an isolated case. All I will say is that you might want to stay on top of it to make sure it doesn't happen to you.

Good luck with your own application.

I just had a live converstaion with the sales reprasentetive Lenny. She said My representative was Matt so she cannot do anything. She can only get matt to check my account. So she said i should wait for an email from Matt. But ofcource no promise of a time period.

My last conversation with someone was on the phone and I was told basically the same thing.. to wait for an email. So, all I can suggest is that you stay on top of them and make sure you don't get lost in the shuffle.

The problem is that i dont have much time to chase them . I allready have an worldpay account. But worlpay on default donot provide you subscription feature which is called Futurepay. Worldpay wants an extra £100.00 ($158) for this feature. So i thought i could get paysystems for $49.00 and use that for webhosting business and keep the worldpay on my other business selling tangyble goods.
When i compared the aplication process between Paysystems and Worldpay. Worldpay is much easier to deal with.

It took me a month last year to get a paysystems account setup, but 90% of that time was waiting for them to respond to a quetion regarding using our DBA name or legal name. But after faxing in the documents it took less than a week, probably closer to a day

Update:

Apparently, someone from PaySystems saw this thread and checked into our situation. I received an email from their underwriting department today following up on my account.

After calling and speaking to one of their reps, the situation is in the process of being resolved. We may still use them.

I felt I should let those who read this thread know that they have finally followed up on our pending account.

Yeah today i have mentioned them about this thread. According to them they have todo security checks etc. I understand it all but. It looks like they are not really well organised. I really tired of their requests and amount of time they take. I exepected it to be as easy as aplying worldpay but what can you expect at $49.00 . So currently i am still waiting. If matt the account exec. is reading this thread please accept my apologees for the headache i gave you

Keep away from them.

Do searches on paysystem. They've also been dropped by one of their major banks and are holding peoples money left right and centre.

If i were you take your business elsewhere.

(Awaiting the flaming from paysystem flamers now)

What I say is true and i've spoken to 2 people this afternoon alone that have had their accounts suspended for no good reason. I dont take 2 chargebacks in 6 months a good reason.
