    Problem with form size in MSIE

    <form action="action.php" method="post">
    Your name: <input type="text" name="name" size="10" /><br>
    Your age: &nbsp;&nbsp;<input type="password" name="age" size="10" />
    <input type="submit" />

    view this in MSIE and you see that the password form is diff size from text form... why is this so? - My tiny little website/blog - Looking for smilies? Come to my smiley database

    Hmm, never noticed that before. Yet when viewing the form in Netscape, Mozilla or Opera, the text boxes are the same size.

    I've often noticed this if you change the font style for input boxes to something other than the default, however if you set the size using CSS instead. Problem solved.

    I have this problem in MSIE, since version 6.0 I think...
    I also use CSS to make both text and password fields the same width.
