Copy webmail files/accounts from one account to another (CPanel user)
I have a customer that has two domains (one parked on top of the other) and wants to break them into two actual accounts, or flip the order of said domains.
He (like a doofus, despite being warned not to do so) relies on webmail (NeoMail, Horde, SqurrelMail) as his primary means of email communication and wants to keep ALL accounts and emails and folders, except to move them from domain abc.com to domain def.com.
I don't really want to do this (personally, I'd rather just have this guy go with another web host, as he's extremely demanding, wanting the world for nothing, but that's another issue) due to the potential of lost email/files.
Is there a safe and sane way to copy his mailbox account/folders from one account over to his new account WITHOUT losing any of the structure or dealing with any permission issues? He's on a CPanel account, the other account is also CPanel.
We're ONLY dealing with the email files on the server, I can handle everything else, not a problem.
Don't tell me to use the account copy feature, as both accounts are going to be on the same server, same drive.
Thanks for any help you can provide.
(To the Mods, I didn't know where I should post this, so it's in this forum)
