All mine, I got into domains a couple of years ago and starting buying and selling, just got totally out of hand.

I use a lot to direct traffic to my sites.

In honesty I make more money out of domains than I do from hosting.

I own 5, from which i use only 2 of them. I bought 2 of them for my personal use and the rest i got from the people in my network as donations .... Kids love buying domains and after one month they get bored of them ... so ... why waste them.

I have 9, brought 7 of them last week and will auction them off this coming Thursday starting at $50 each, they're that good.

I was kinda surprised that nobody even thought of these domain names, but maybe they have but let it expire since they couldn't find the time to develop them.

Most of the domain names I have are geared towards webhosting, except for one which fits just about any business idea. I have the same Domain names under .com and .net, never waste my time with biz, ws, or any other.

I don't plan to bulk-up on domain names, just a small library of great ones after extensive research, then auction them off.

Hope dmaven finds buyers soon, must cost a fortune to renew every year!

If he pays $9.00 for each domain he pays $1,800,964 bucks a year.. holy hell.. he must be quite rich.

Edit: I bet his domain registrar(s) love him..

I have 25 total. Only 17 are active. I'm the kind of person that buys the .com, net and .org if it's available. Just one of those things. I'm getting rid of a few of them, too many not in use. I just have the .net and .org set to the .com in most cases.

    For those that care:
    .com 7
    .net 9
    .org 9

Might want to check your math on that calculation.

I calculate his average yearly domain registration to be about $10,000 (US).

People who have hundreds of domains and then never do anything with them piss me off. Why do this... If it's in hopes of someone buying it for thousands of dollars then that's pretty sad. And a lazy way to try and make a buck. Some people might actually want to have those domains to put to use.

It's not pokemon card collecting here. I could understand 5 or 10 but jeez.
