For servers we use Compaq Proliant DL380 or 360's for clients that want a big name or we will build from ASUS or Supermicro.
Workstations and laptops we sell Dell's as well as build from (workstations only) ASUS and Supermicro.Roger - Fastcom Networks - http://www.fastcom.uk.com

I build my own. I find it fun and easy, and I get to control everything in it.

I always buy from a brand name... Have got 1 Dell laptop which has been fine, a Sony Desktop and another Sony laptop. Not had a problem with any of them.
I've always thought about building one, but I would rather spend my time doing something making me money rather than costing itSteve

I have built all of mine, and have more problems with ones I build. Why? On average, I open up the case at least once a week and mess around with it. Add that to overclocking and I have a higher failure rate. At the same time, most of my relatives have brand name systems. The more the person uses them, the more problems they have.

I also build my own. Current one has a Chaintech MB and I'm quite pleased with it.

I have a brand name computer, and it has alot more problems than the computers I've built. Even though the built computers have no warranty as most brand name computers do, I find that I only need a warranty on the brand name.John Kata

#1. What motherboard brand do you prefer? (MSI, Asus, Gigabyte, etc.)

If it's gonna be an AMD system, I'll use MSI. If I'm going to build a Intel based system, I'll use Epox.
Currently, I am using an AMD Athlon XP 2500+ on a MSI KT6 Delta. My brother's using an Intel Pentium 4 2.0GHz on a Epox 4BEA+.
