1 bad apple does spoil the rest. It is a shame that your fellow students had to ruin it for people trying to make it a living but, it is quite amusing.

Yeah, the whole 1 bad apple thing, but local businesses can still register, just more emphasis has been placed on checking validity of business. Such as calling back numbers making sure it is right and always manually checking.

Yeah it is a classic, fun to be a part of it. One thing was (if you read the news story), they don't normally have just the automatic setup system, but over 1,400 businesses tried to put in closings that night and so they approved all of them due to overload. And this was not a hacking thing. They actually did register under these names.
