Check out this ugly website, belongs to UK's largest cinema chain, Odeon.
You figure UK's largest cinema chain, Odeon, could find a decent website designer.
http://www.odeon.co.uk
Besides Odeon's cheap ugly website design, it has a few errors in it's code. I make a bet this site was designed by someone related to whomever runs Odeon, in hope of starting a business designing websites.
The site designer better stick to his real job selling popcorn.

I quite like the way it looks. What I dont like is the fact that it wont give me the films/times for my local odeon - just blank boxes. Thus rendering it pretty - but completely useless.

A website for the largest cinema chain will probably need a more professional looking website I guess. Not that it's ugly, but I guess we expect better things if you are the leader in the industry.

Its absolutely abysmally coded. I've been complaining about this for months.
It uses M$'s 'improved' DHTML, so it doesn't work in any browser but internet explorer 6 on windows. Mac user? Nope. Linux user? Nope. Firefox user? Nope.Gone.
