Could you give us some more details on the VPS (like processor to VPS ratios) .
Personally at anything over the 256mb mark I suggest people start looking at a low-end dedicated , but it all depends on what kind of hardware the VPSs run on , is the ram burstable (some VPSs arent) , and how many VPS accounts they have to a server .
Also will the XP2200 have IDE or SCSI disks?
Will it have RAID?

the XP2200 is using IDE, meanwhile the VPS is using SCSI disks. teh VPS has RAID as well

you'll need the dedicated server ... and 1gb of RAM wouldn't hurt for invision.

XanTium, no dig, but how did you work that out, is there like something that bases concurrent conections that takes up lots of CPU usage/Memory?

100 concurrent connections surely isn't a lot?
