We are offering ad space (1 ad 600 x 90) on the "register now" popup window.
This popup window shows up to every guest or logged out user, this makes up 3/4 of our daily unique visits so basically your ad will be shown to 7,500 uniques daily and get around 750,000 hits daily.
Not only that, this popup is dhtml meaning that it cannot be disabled by most popup blockers, or firewalls. Also for guests it will show up on every page they visit and every thread they read as the popup code is placed in the header/footer of the forum template.
This popup will stay up for 20 seconds and follow the users scrolling (go up or down depending on where they go) it cannot be closed manually and only closes once those 20 seconds are up.

There will only be 1 ad space on this popup and the ad will NOT be rotated.

This is the screenshot of the popup window, the banner that says "MPC.de forum" is the one that is going to be replaced by the ad banner: http://mpc.ipx10411.ipxserver.de/forum/temp/popup.jpg

No doubt. Give the man a chance to wake-up, have his coffee, and I'm sure he will reply.

hrm as I said best offer, but... if you want a starting price... okay, we're quite desperate to find someone for this month so.... lets say starting price @ $60 for the month

Remember only 1 ad spot is for sale on that popup, and it will have no other advertisers except a text link to a sister site that is also gaming related (german site)

so... if more then 1 person is interested highest bidder will win.

oh yeah forgot to add, the size of the ad is negotiable, I am willing to go up to (600 x 110) if anone is interested in displaying a bigger then regular size ad.

BTW sorry I posted it when I got back from a flight yesterday night so... slept in a bit longer today, that's why no answer for so long

yeah we are.... what's so interesting about that? I mean we can't just go on without adverts, MPC has become almost 2 times bigger in the past month alone, so.... getting a new server to balance out the load/bandwidth isn't exactly quite cheap. We aren't all millionaires who just sit at home and spend money on the site, we need some sort of revenu to partially cover all the expences.

I mean it's either selling ad space or keeping the cheaper server and that means slower load times, etc. we think that our members will be more interested in faster load times even if it means an ad or two, rather then slower load times and lots of timeouts but without ads.

Whoa whoa, I meant nothing by my statement. I meant that I know you guys get a ton of traffic and that advertising on there would be a guaranteed worthy investment. I can see what you were thinking and I apologize.

erm sorry just that I'm a bit jumpy.... we are moving servers and the new one is quite expensive so we don't really know what to do about that, I mean it's hard for the admins to pay for it out of their own pockets sure we get support from our hoster but still...

again sorry I guess I was a bit too harsh there
