IIS Issue Setting Up Multiple Domains

    Hello Everyone-

I am having a bit of an issue with a server I own. It's a windows based server running IIS.

For a while I was only running one website on the server, so when the domain name was entered it was showing the file on the IP of the server. I now want to run two websites on this server and I'm not sure how to set up the IIS settings to do so.

If someone can help me out, it would be greatly appreciated.

    simple fix...

in IIS, right click domain and go to properties.... under the Web site tab (default), hit advanced under the site identification... then, all you have to do is add an entry under the "multiple identities for this web site" add the ip address, port (80) and then the domain.... I would suggest to add two per web site..... and do this for each domain on IIS and you should be good to go.

You can do this by creating a Virtual Server. For more information on creating Virtual Servers, please refer;en-us;816576
