packet loss after turning on apf?

    Hi guys,

I'm not sure if this is APF issue, but I get packet loss during traceroute after having APF enabled.

Yes, that's because (the newer versions anyway) rate-limit imcp packets. Try to ping flood a apf enabled box, and there's a ton of drops and messages in the logfile. Try a normal ping and it all goes through.
