stop outbound spam?

Anyone know of a good script that will monitor the mail log and blacklist addresses which send out more than a certain amount of mail per given time? Or something that does something similar to this, in order to prevent a customer from using your server to mail out spam.

I've tried spamguard but it continues to segfault. Any suggestions?

Thank you.

In theory, the following could work:

Modify your smtp program to send all out-bound email to procmail to be ran through SpamAssassin. If it works as it should, anything deemed "spam" would be routed to /dev/null just like incoming spam.

Dunno, give it a try.

If you are colocating, i suggest using an extra 1/2U and put in a watchguard firebox... just amazing!!!... My brothers' company has it installed in hospitals and offices all around the south florida area... Please note that i am talking about Hospitals that have 2000+ computers thus i know it can handle the load. he was bragging about how their usage went down by almost 50%..
