Why don't ev1servers and SM offer slackware boxes? Does any one knows where to get slackware boxes?

thanks

They probably don't want to offer them because of support.
They would need to have skilled (slackware) techs.

It's easier to offer the most popular (RH) customers are familiar with the brand, etc.

I feel all Dedicated Server companies should offer any distribution and slackware being one of the mian like Red Hat, because Slackware is very fast, very power ful and well it just kicks BuTt man!

Another reason is major commercial control panels don't support slackware, and customers want those. The customers that don't need a control panel are in less majority And datacenters tend to offer stock products and minimize tech support time, etc.

I don't mean slackware is more "secure". Server security depends what the admins do! sometimes securing a box may break it! believe it or not. Just be sure what you'r doing to secure your box. It's true slackware is faster.
I agree you need high skilled tech for support. I think the slackware documentation is not well written. But I like the help on freenode. thanks to you guys in #slackware
