Starting a Web Hosting Company forum should be moved

I believe that the Starting a Web Hosting Company forum should be moved to the main forums and the Running a Web Hosting Business would be more suitable in the Premium member forums.

It's highly-likely that most Premium members are established in this industry and don't really need the extra knowledge of how to start a web hosting company.

Anybody else agree?

I don't think the "Starting a Web Hosting Company" forum should even exist. There are to many damn hosts already, why do we need to teach more people how to get into the business? Its like cutting your own throat.

I believe it should stay where it is.

I see it as if someone was to ask a question on starting a business in that non-paying forum (Which many do, I included) the thread will be closed and told to upgrade their membership?

That won't happen.

To clarify -

If you start a thread in a "regular" forum, that might also fit in a premium forum - the "regular" thread won't be closed, moved, or whatever.

Why is there two different forums on the subject then? I just don't see the point unless (As stated.) that the hidden forum will be for "advanced" discussion. I don't think a new member would sign up for a premium plan not knowing what they would get. (I know I wouldn't!)

I have no problem on these hidden forums, i'm just curious. The only issue i'm opposed to is the quite annoying premium button. I would rather pay not to see it then to pay to have it.

I think the forum is fine where it is. Having a forum for running your own hosting business can also have its positive sides. If used properly, there is a lot of knowledge regarding the industry, how to start and most importantly, if you should start a hosting business. The business is not for everyone and they can easily find out if it is or not by reading that forum.

You need to be a "Premium Member" to see it.

Thankfully I can't see that forum.
