Just some friendly advice: I can keep up with your banners, but some people dont read that fast, and others just dont want to see 3 flashes in the banner per second (roughly)

You should slow them down a bit

Those are just sample banners, they're not actually what people would get. They're just samples I made to show my skills. I make the banners to how the company needs them.

Yes, but you want your clients to be able to look at them. Give them a sample of how they would actually look...please, for the love of whatever you hold special/sacred/dear slow them down! please....

They do look nice, but please slow them down!!

Post Well...

Holmz:

They are pretty nice looking banners but I must agree with the others...

The banners need to be slowed down quite a bit and (since these are samples) they should consist of your best work and effort into them.

I wish you luck though and I may need a banner in the near future so I'll look you up.

Either slow them down or wait until we all drop tabs of acid* then put five times more on that page and I'll call you in a few days...

I think all of them on the same page makes it a bit like a psychodelic year I had in college, but I will say one thing...

IT GOT MY ATTENTION!

*Chicken has never done acid, nor would, just F.Y.I. so I'm just kidding, really.

Thanks for the input. I'll slow them down and then you can check them again.

Personally I like the speed they put me in a trance! You really should slow them down but besides that you do good work and I have seen companys that want to charge 3 - 5 times your rates for banners of equal and less quality.

I think that will the quality of work you should be able to get a little business going, one concern would be if you used the same base template for all the banners for a quicker banner production time, which I image you would not so that is not an issue is it.

Aloha

well I would have responded earlier but I just got off the floor from having a spasm attack I would get up see teh scren and fall down floping on the floor
(like the old wang chung video did to people)

oh my eyes as Dogma said

well guess you get the point slow em down
most real people find that super blinky ads mean just that ads and tend to get annoyed at them and not focus on them
actually they focus them out

Oh My!

You really slow them down.
It's now so slow that I can't see the animation

Or, is that just me who don't see it

Your graphics still look great, though, really

one honest chunk of info for ya
you may want to try to get them a bit smaller in file size
some ad networks would not take them as they are to heavy
even though they are examples better build your examples to be a bit lower KB that way you will get better practice and you will get a feel for how to build them smaller

just a thought for you
the norm for advertising banners is usually around 15KB - 17KB
and the larger firms cut you at 15KB

They must increased the bandwidth on banners. It was always a rule of thumb to go with 9kb or less (it's really hard to do animated banners at this size, but it is possible -- it does take time though). One of my finest examples is a realistic 200x150 animated site ad -- which had color -- that was just 5kbs (how many smaller sized banners can claim to be that small, good looking and animated?).
