Mzima seems to have a really great network here on the WEST coast. I have visited a number of thier sites, and they are all very quick and speedy. Pings and TraceRoutes are awesome as well..

Does anyone know of any Mzima Dedicated Resellers?

I've checked out Mzima's site, and they are exteremly expensive if you go through them directly.

I'm pretty sure it has ALOT to due with the datacenter they are in.. It seems they lease a floor of the Wilshire Building in LA, which is probably some of the most expensive real estate anywhere.

any help would be appreciated.

insiderhosting is on mzima and are excellent. with that said, they are probably not exactly cheap either. how important (read what price) is a quality network to you?

If I am not mistaken I think Mzima stopped offering dedicated servers since I contacted them recently about it and they told me that their site wasn't updated and they don't do dedicated servers anymore; however I could be wrong.

If I'm correct, Mzima exited the dedicated/colocation business, and sold their hosting unit to CorporateColo.com.

Edit: Just checked, and the mzimahosting.com site is the same thing as CorporateColo.com (with the names switched on each site). I'd email them to get a more recent quote - If they can't give you a better quote, yet still want their network, it's much more affordable to get a server from RackMountsEtc and colo it there.

You are correct. I'd recommend talking to InsiderHosting, they do some dedicated, as rusko said, not cheap..but stable.

I appreciate the info about insiderhosting, but i'm not looking for cheap..

just fairly priced.

$850/ Month for a Dual 1GHz and 150GB Monthly bandwidth is extreme, especially considering it's UNMANAGED

and believe me, I realize other companies try and rip off their customers for MUCH MUCH more all the time..

$850/month is _extremely_ expensive! I've never heard of those kind of prices for dedicated/colo.
