Question

What do you think of my website?

I have just recently started my hosting business. What do you think of my site design? Also, I resell www . e3servers . com and they offer very small reseller packages compared to other resellers so my prices are not as low as I want them to be. The only reason I have stuck to them is because of their excellent support and the fact that they say that other providers that offer more bandwidth will go out of bussiness and they will always be around etc. I am afraid of moving to another provider because there support might suck or they might be unreliable. e3 always email me back within half an hour! Could you recommend a provider with really generous reseller accounts but at the same time reliable and with excellent support. That way I could double all the features of my plans which should bring me more sales as the market is saturated with hosts giving ridiculously high bandwidth for very low prices, which is what I want to do...thanks! By the way the URL to my site is WWW . BUBHOST . COm

To be brutally honest i think its nasty.

1. Blue isn't fun to read white text off of
2. table is way to cluttered. - why not list what makes you unique and have a standard feature table on a seperate page.
3. I wouldn't buy anything from this website.

And i'm not sure your supposed to use a review forum to ask about better resellers

good luck

Well, I have to agree. The design looks like a beginner did it. You are centering all your text, an obvious sign. Plus your don't know how to make paragraphs or use bulleted lists properly.

Let me direct you to these sites for some good reading:

Your site needs a complete makeover. The prices are good but the design makes people not want to buy. I think that a vital part of being a webhost is having a site that is unique. We can make you one at http://www.ampedhosting.com Check out the prices and make sure to tell the designer Jere sent you.

thanks everyone for your comments, keep them coming! What I am in the process of doing is that I have downloaded a free affiliate site template, and I am moding it so that it suits a hosting site. I think this will be more unique than just downloading a hosting template. Also, with my prices, a couple of people said that they were good, but I have seen people in here offering like 30 gig bandwidth for only three dollars a month!! I am in the process of changing providers (i am looking at moving to equivity.com) and then I will be roughly timesing the bandwidth and disk space on my plans by ten while keeping the prices the same. So on Plan A for example it currently has just say 1 gig disk space, 10 gig bandwidth, when I move Plan A will have 10 gig disk space, 100 gig bandwidth. I think I should get heaps of customers with offerings like this? Go to bubhost.com and times the features by lets just say 5-10 with the same prices, would you buy from me? Do you think I should get a nice flow of customers? Thanks and keep the comments coming!

I agree with the previous comments. There is way too many blue, it's not healthy for the eyes

Maybe you could try out some different fonts or textstyles too?

Or integrating an image to make your site more vivid.

For someone in the webhosting business you seem to have only little knowledge. Get real ... these prices are ridiculous and a result of enormous overselling! Yes, you can offer them 30 gig for only a couple of bucks but trust me ... if you have too many customers actually using the 30 gig, you are in some serious sh*t! And because you are a reseller, you don't have any influence on the servers or whatsoever ... do you want to offer good stabile webhosting or do you wanna go cheap? Think about it if I were you.

By the way ... you would sell a whole lot more with a better design. Currently it looks quite onprofessional and I would never ever buy a service from someone with a design like yours.

If you need a designer, let me know. Can do it for you if necessary (am doing some portfolio building) for the right price ofcourse.

I do know what overselling is. I recently signed up for equivity and so far I have only recieved my cPanel username / password. I have not recieved my welcome letter after twelve+ hours. I think I might be getting my money back and moving to Dathorn.

The logo makes it look like BLUBHOST instead of Bubhost.

One thing you did which I think is right is hitting the possible future customer with what you have to offer, instead of making them look all over the site like some are.. Bad thing about that is, even though you may have the right idea, I don't think you presented it right.

I don't like the colors. I think it could be better.

Keep trying and good luck

hi all....a couple of updates! Everything is going great with equivity! It turned out my email address wasnt working! So, I will soon be launching the new design I have along with my new plans. I have decided that while I will be offering more than I currently do, I wont be x10 evertying. Like Neppie said 'do you want to offer good stabile webhosting or do you wanna go cheap?' And I definetely want to offer good stable hosting. The new site looks much better and has that professional look. I hope to soon get some new customers. Take care and thanks for your comments, if you have anything to offer please comment, thanks!
