Is there a way to import a CVS document into mysql?

Do you mean a CSV document? CVS (Concurrent Versioning System) and CSV (Comma Separated Values) are two very different things

If your answer is CSV, which is plain text data format, then yes, you can import it into MySQL. You will need to use the mysqlimport command (from a shell) -- or the LOAD DATA query to import information from text files into MySQL.

You can also use ready-made CSV import scripts, which have the advantage of having a web-based interface. This is very useful in case you do not have shell access to the account in question.
