Question

What do you consider reasonable response time?

We're reviewing our support response time policies and want to get some feedback on what most people expect. We'd like to know what you consider to be a reasonable response time to a tech support question by email or ticket.

Thanks in advance for your feedback. It will help us provide better service to our customers.

If its a basic request I can wait a couple hours. If its an important system down type support issue I would hope for a quicker reply.

Under 15 minutes for emergencies, under 8 hours for e-mails sent out of hours (at night for example) and under 4 hours for a general day time e-mail.

If support is given as 24/7 I expect under 1 hour at any time.
