I've seen many good suggestions about Help Center Live, including that is free and very stable. I was wondering, should we change to Help Center Live and offer registered users Live Chat Support with the Help Desk integrated. Instead of using osTicket and providing no Live Chat Support?
We use free solutions as our company is not that big yet to pay for scripts. Plus there are also many free scripts that are better than paid.
All suggestions are completly welcomed.
Thanks & Regards

HelpCenterLive looks like a very promising application I must say. I wouldn't, however, use it in production at the moment as it has a lot of bugs that will hopefully be addressed in version 1.2 which should be comming out any time now. They are still in the beta stages from what i can see.

I'll not be using v1.2 until it's final. But I am willing to use v1.1 as it is final.

Use at your own risk mate, we've found quite a few serious bugs in 1.1.. final or not. I would strongly advise against doing so.. however its your call

Yeah, I just found them to, I guess it's not a good app at all, I won't be using it.

i would have to say i disagree! HCL 1.2.2 is pretty stable and their winapp software gives you everything that the top-range help center software can give you!

I personally use HCL 1.2 final release and I have no issues with it. Plus I am a member of thier forums and the creator Mike is very on top keeping it bug free. It seems when someone psots a bug he is soon to try and find and fix it.

I don't know much about this program and after having looked it over, it seems to do alot of what HCL can do. Also I guess with me, I am more apt to use the free script cause just like many others around here I am a smaller host and cant afford the expensive scripts. This is just my opinon though.

Hi
I used to use HCL and it is very good and considering the fact that it is free also adds to it. It also has a trouble ticket system as well.
Bugs or no bugs HCL is still very good and this is probably the best free live chat script available at the moment.

The only thing I have to say about HCL, it looks nice, but I don't want to disable my popup blockers to use a program. Of course it is free, you get what you pay for, and I don't use it because of that. I just wanted to make sure people know that you need to disable any popup blockers for it to work.

I just enabled my popup blocker to allow popups from my site. Unless you have lots of popups from your pages then i'm sure that would work
