Webmail programs

Can anyone recommend a good webmail script that can handle accounts with 10,000+ messages? I have a client who gets a large volume of mail daily and who frequently goes on the road for several weeks at a time. He continually runs into problems with Squirrelmail timing out because it takes too long to process all of his accumulated mail. I can raise the max execution time which lets him into his box eventually, but it sometimes takes 15 minutes for the page to display which isn't very convenient.

I've advised him webmail was never really intended to handle such large volumes of mail, but if anyone knows of a script that handles it better I'd appreciate hearing about it.

Thanks!

I have work with 2. Horde and Openwebmail.
With Horde, I don't remmember getting problem with it with 6000 messages.
I know Openwebmail can handle 10k-15k easily (I flood my self a couple of time )

Both don't work on the same way. So you will need to check which one works with your system.

I am currently using neomail, and i love it, its a simpler version of openwebmail, so i imagine it could handle around 10k messages..

Neomail isn't a simplified OpenWebMail its the other way around. OpenWebMail is Neomail modified specifically so it can handle large amounts of mail...

I activated Horde and it seems to be working great. Thanks for the recommendation!
