I wish to ask all you peoples that are web savy, if you would recommend Bodhost/Transinc Web hosting to anyone. The reason I ask, is that I have had a lot of problems with them, regarding uptime. Over the last six months, they have transfered my site to six different servers on their system and I have had to change my domain listing almost as much.

Through it all, the owner has given me the next six months free, but that does not help the server problem. Have any of you had similar problem with them. I stay with them because the offer cheap prices and give a lot for the money, but I still complain about their uptime, which they maintain they give 99.5%. No for me it seems.

Credits or even refunds means nothing if it's not reliable enough. Start looking.

I found bodhosting to be the bottom of the barrel.
So bad all the way around that it was very funny...for a while.

Well, I don't see why you'd have to make any changes to your domain name if the web hosting company changes servers. The dns settings should take effect automatically for you, if they change their nameservers' ips.

Maybe, I'm wrong.

As far as your current situation, you should look for a new home.

What are your requirements? Perhaps wht members can suggest a decent home for your website. There are plenty of reputable companies around.
