is this possible for shared hosting
I am looking for a shared hosting accounts for my cousin.
He've got a web site with adult materials (some but not all)...
He tried several hosting companies but always ended up having his account terminated plus no refund..

Any idea why he gets his account terminated each time?

Yes, it is possible. There are some shared hosting which allows legal adult materials. Of course they must be legal and that you have the copyrights or rights to them with the model releases.
Some web host allows and some don't. When in doubt, ask before you sign up.

Probably because he's violating AUP (acceptable use policy) or TOS (Terms of service) rules that he neglected to read. -- Simply, many hosts do not allow adult material or content. But to answer the original question of this thread, yes it is possible with a shared host. Just make sure that when you're going with that host that in their terms of service and acceptable use policy they do allow adult material. If they do not specify, then email them to be sure.
edit: ahhh. eddy types faster... or he read this before me

adult materials plus a lot of bandwidth consumed...
although he's a noobie and doesn't know anything about web hosting, I think he needs at least 30GB per month

Check out http://www.findmyhosting.com and you should be able to find someone who will allow adult material. That is LEGAL adult material. If your cousin is posting material that is not originally his or does not have rights of ownership to, that is a copyright infringement and most hosts would suspend as soon as they are notified. Of if the subjects of the posts simply APPEAR to be minors, that would result in immediate termination of hosting as well.

There are many many hosts that allow Adult content and there are many more that do not.
What that simply means is that if you host adult content where its not allowed, then its obviously going to get you kicked.
So, you simply need an account with a host that allows Adult content and you won't run into issues again. Remember, many hosts allow Adult content without agressively advertising it, so best way is to shortlist the hosts that meet your budget and requirements...and then check their TOS, FAQ or ask their Sales for clarification.

in fact, my cousin 's web site is not really a porn site but it has a board for visitors to share xxx pictures...... sigh

This is not an intelligent approach . . .
The site was kicked for a reason. If that reason is simply that the hosts do not allow adult content. Then it is imperative you ask this of the host prior to signing up with them or READ (you should do this anyway) their Terms of Service (TOS) and Acceptable Use Policy (AUP).
Signing up with a host to see if they kick you off in a month is really dumb especially when/if the issue is whether or not the site is welcome. Be smart find out first especially since you are complaining about not getting a refund when you get canned.
On the other hand if the site is getting kicked for SPAM, resource violations or anything else for that matter, I strongly suggest you tell the prospective host why your site has been terminated in the past. I'm sure no host will terminate you without stating a reason . . .
Good luck
