Hey Guys,

I was hoping someone could help me out...

I'm looking to buy a desktop for my 4 year old. Yes, I'm buying my 4 year old his own computer (my husband will be using it as well).

But I've been having a hard time trying to find a decent one that wont cost me an arm and a leg.

I'm not looking for anything spectacular - but someone that will last a little while (spec wise).

Specs I'm looking for (at least):

AMD 1800
512MB ram
40GB HD
a graphic card with at least 64MB ram (but 128MB is better).

A decent mobo, and a cd burner (not required - but saves me from having to go out and buy one).

I'm looking to spend no more than $800 for it.

If anyone is looking to sell, please contact me (upload pics of machine if possible).

Please, no eMachines, Compaqs or HPs.

I never really liked Dell... if I were to buy it from Dell, I would have to buy the 3 year warranty (I've had problems with both Gateway and Dell previously, and could've bought 3 new systems will all the stuff that I had to replace under warranty).

For $800 you can get a new desktop with better specs than stated..
