isnt it about time this guy was locked up? The irony of him saying the bbc lied (im not disputing they did or did not) then lieing about comments made by their reporters is pretty pathetic, even for fox.

Is the BBC the only news network you guys have?

You have to realize that even if the smallest oppturnity comes up for 1 news station to slam another, they will do it without even thinking, Right now for the past few days I have been watching ABC, NBC, CNN, FOX all slamming CBS for the superbowl still.. Don't feel like you are getting singled out as a country because your not. Getting good news is one thing, But getting some dirt on a competiting news station is a gold mine..

That's actually quite funny in a pitiful kind of way.

That guy sounded like he had gone through a box of Smarties and a crate of Red Bull before he got stuck into the BBC.

Now the BEEB does have a left leaning bias on certain issues but it is a leader without equal in other areas such as global coverage and Science.

I have to agree with Trifolic that news broadcasters like to kick an opposing one when it is down.

It sounded like a Fox News love in but it happens.

I support the British American partnership but Britain comes first and to generalise the whole British journalistc establishment like he did at the end ir Arrogant, Ignorant but comical.

The irony of the piece for me was that he was having his word on BBC lies which did happen but at the same time lied or told half truth's himself.

That's why i like to get the reports from the news wires as raw as possible so as few as possible can filter any kind of agenda into it and then it is up to me.

Oh and when it comes to News Boradcasters in Britain we have

Sky News [related to Fox News but has a British approach and style]
BBC
ITV

These aren't exactly networks or broadcasters anyway

Yup i doubt he had bothered to actually check facts. Gilligans comments regarding the heroic defense werent his own but rather just reporting the comments of a certain minister of funny talks. He was however anti war (if you wish to claim this to be anti american and pro iraqi its a bit of a stretch).
As critic said we have quite a few news channels, like yourself, our own home grown ones and we also get several of yours on cable \ satellite deals. The BBC are generally fairly middle of the road, they have some political leaning due possibly to their funding. ITN are also great, shame they cut their budget recently Generally they dont attack each other too much over here, offhand I cant really think of any attacks, I guess maybe its just not british lol.
That guy was certainly off his trolley, a case of im going to say whatever i want whether its true or not just to keep my job.
