What can i do about my cat?
I have a cat that i love very much, i will be moving in the near future (In the next month) but where i am moving to does not allow pets. What can i do? Pet sitting places can charge up to $40 a day, that is very expensive.
Where i am moving to is only temporary (Maybe 6 months?) what can i do so i will still be able to have here when i move again?

Well you can look for a pet shelter, or local SPCA that might do it for you.
And like richy said you can ask friends or relatives if they will do it, but 6 months is enough time for someone to get attached and might not want to give him back. The odds are slim but crazier things have happened

I couldn't give up my dog or cat so I wouldn't move to a place that doesn't allow pets. If that's not an option then I guess find someone to take care of it for six months but that's a huge favor to ask from someone.

Yeah, if you live by relatives try to keep them there.

If you cannot find a friend or family you could check with kennels or your vet. Some can accomodate cats for extended stays. An animal rescue group or shelter may also be able to help.

I had this problem. I moved into an apartment and took the cat with me. I couldn't bear to be without her so I just made sure that when I called maintanence for anything that the cat was safely tucked away.

Just hide the cat if your superintendant is around, many people do it, I also did it... sort of ridiculous not allowing cats..

Just keep the cat.
I live in a no-pets building (they're very strict on it). One day in the hall there was this cat roaming around. Once I opened the door to my apartment, it walked right in like it owned the place, then got a bit confused.
Turns out it was our upstairs neighbor's cat (guess the cat didn't remember how many flights it needed to climb ).
Works especially well if you don't really have an in-building super (we don't).

I'm moving in with another room mate, i talked to the guy, and he said it's fine now
When he said no, i didn't want to bring the cat, because it's kind of hard to hide the cat, food, etc from a roommate
