    great product

Agree wholeheartedly! Just put it on the server for my customers. Support is great and the software is wonderful. So simple, as easy as Microsoft Word. Man, this is going to save us a lot of time. I highly recommend it!

Support is dead! No replies to emails and the forum is neglected. Check it out.

Also, the product is very slow don't you think? I tried the demo and it took for ever to load.

Anyway, in my opinion the support is really bad.

    Hi there,

Well, I'm not sure what happened either. My email didn't get returned so it went somewhere. Oh well. <grin>

My main question is do you accept other forms of payment besides Share-it? Such as Paypal subscriptions? I run multiple servers and would like to lease instead of purchase if possible. I am not sure how my clients will react or use it yet and would like to test things out for a few months.

It's a very attractive and useful product. I am a bit worried about the speed though and thus another reason to leasing it for a while before purchasing.

    Thank you very much.

    Ricoche,
Yes, we accept PayPal payments and wire transfer to Bank of America as well.
Lease is possible of course. Product will not have any restrictions except time expiration (after lease period ends).
You can test digi products for free for 30 days (Free trial version).
So you can test speed and etc.
Currently digi:lite 1.0 and digi:hsp 0.71b are available. New version 1.0 of digi:hsp is supposed to be released at the end of this month.

Would any host out there who has successfully installed the digi.HSP be willing to send me some installation instructions? The manual on the site along with the support staff have been excellent, but I still can't get the product to install. I think I need to maybe hear from a host who has had some success with their installation. I would really appreciate this.

I'm on my last leg and before I throw in the towel, I thought I'd give it one last try.

Please pm or send me an email.

    Thank you!

    Here's what we did. Basically:

    1. Unzip into the right folder of your site

    2. Download and unzip ioncube decoder; very simple.

    3. Create database for the software to use

    4. Surf to the folder you installed it in and you will be prompted to enter the database info and some other setup stuff.

    Hi there,

Thanks for the reply. Did you install the lite or HSP version? Did you have to create a subdomain or do anything special? On our server I did your exact instructions from the very start and it didn't even budge.

Anyway, I do appreciate the response. I'll try again later. <laugh> Yesterday I spent almost 5 hours trying to install and figure this thing out. I agree it should have been as easy as pointed out above, but for some reason it isn't for my setup.

I have wasted so much time with this software already, it's amazing.

I definitely recommend to try the Free trial version first before buying this because it may not work on your setup.

    Thanks.

    Hello,

    Thank you for your email.

Your support staff has been excellent in answering my questions and giving
me additional tips about how to install your software. They have also been
great about putting up with my frustrations and frequent emailings about the
    troubles with my installation.

Unfortunately, I am still unable to make any progress with the installation
of digi:HSP. I currently run 4 Linux dedicated servers and 1 windows
server. I have installed numerous php and cgi scripts including several
with ioncube and the zend encoder. Modernbill and WHMautopilot are a couple
of examples of such software. All have installed reasonably well.

My frustration with your software lies in the installation of course. After
literally working on this all day today I have achieved no success and will
probably have to shelve the script for a few days to take care of some
server duties I need to attend to. Your support staff has indicated some
things that I need to do, which I recently corrected, but still no success.

The digi.lite was than offered, but this particular version will not meet my
hosting requirements. Basically I was interested in the Digi:HSP version
because it would have allowed me to have my hosting clients on the server
have access to the editor for their sites. There is another product called
WebeditPlatinum that is similar but very expensive in my opinion. I found
your software to be a good substitute solution.

In addition, my reasons for choosing the lease version was to ensure that
the script would install correctly and to check whether it would properly
work with a hosting company. I also wanted to see if I could generate a
demand so that I could change to the purchase option or even sell the lite
    versions if possible.

Finally, if I had to suggest one improvement for Digi:HSP, it would
definitely be in the installation of the product. With systems like
Fantastico, vbulletin, even smaller scripts out there I find Digi:HSP
extremely a challenge to install. I totally understand the critical nature
of protecting your software and hardwork with ioncube, however, it seems the
balance between protection and user friendliness has become unbalanced.

Of course, you may or may not have other customers with my particular
    viewpoint. <smile>

Anway, no hard feelings at all. I am willing to stick with my purchase this
month and I will certainly give it another try later in the week when I have
some additional time to spend going over the instructions again.

    Thanks again,

    Sincerely,

    Jim Atwood
