ProgrammingTalk? You've got questions, we've got answers?
Hi,
Isn't Programming Talk infringing on RadioShack's trademark "You've got questions, we've got answers?"

There should be a ban against registering such trade marks. I can understand if some registers a brand name but a perfect english sentence shouldnt be copyright protected or trademarked. It is just nonsense.
What is some one trade marks the word "Computer" or "Programming" or "Servers"and then we all have to start using an alternative word like Puter lol Or what if someone trademarks the entire dictionary ??????? We have to switch to Swahili or Congonese or Tibetan languages lol

McDonalds TradeMarked "Smile" ... I don't think "You've got questions, we've got answers" is nearly as bad.
And yes, yes they are.

You've got questions, we've got answers-- was also used by the PrimeStar Satellite Company, which is now owned by DirecTV.

Trademarks are registered across classes of service.
A web hosting company and a satellite company would have trademarks registered in different classes and so do not infringe on each other... however a web hosting company and a programming discussion group would both be in the same class of trademark and could possibly infringe on each other.

Radio Shack does have it as a registerd ® but they should be sued for lying.. LOL
Radio Shack is the worst to find asnwers. Their slogan sould be
" if you've got questions, we might have an naswer. (If not we'll make something up)"

Well, just shows the in-creativity of whoever come up with that slogan. It also shows what kind of company iNet is if they keep it up (They may be working for a new one, who knows?)
But iNet is asking for slogans in the lounge and it looks like they won't even compensate anyone, (Compensate as small as a credit to the slogan, etc. (Not just money))
I asked and they didn't answer, but they may be busy
