Hello All,

We have this Dual Xeon with RAID-1.

We get an email daily with subject line: Cron <root@server> /scripts/upcp

This is the message we get daily:

PHP version file is up to date
Cpanel updates are coming from layer2.cpanel.net
SENT ipcheck email
send to CONTACTEMAIL (3) [2]

Buggy hardware detected!!
Skipping Disk Integrity Check

The following controllers have problems with S.M.A.R.T:
3ware PERCRAID 3w-xxx Promise and FastTrack

Note: The message is a mile long, so rest of it is deleted.

What is meant by this by this:

We have opened a ticket to this effect but host doesn't seem to think it is much of a problem.

Is this something we need to worry about?
