Talking

Just wanted to say hi to everybody.
My page is fairly new (only around for 4 mos or so) and I taught myself everything I know. I wanted a professional opinion of my site http://www.nsyncism.com. The only opinions I've gotten are from my peers. I'd like to know what someone experienced in web design thought.

Thanks!

Talking Suggestions ...

I have a few suggestions for you.

First of all, if I was an NSYNC fan and couldn't get enough of Justin (LOL!), I would go and search for NSYNC sites. I'd find yours, but I'd find thousands of others. I want to move quickly from site to site until I find a good one. Make the "enter" link more obvious. Maybe link the image to the site, or give it more precedence. If the user doesn't look that way, they may get frusterated and leave because of the fact that they can't enter.

Other than that, the site is pretty nice. The graphics on the right are cool and look nice when the light up.

One more suggestion would be to get rid of all of that extra black space at the top. Get as much viewing space as possible.

Keep up the good work!

I like the site design. Good Work

I think Vincent covered eveything. Though you could also get rid of the extra space at the bottom of the page

Thumbs up

Yeah...it's my first time working with tables and I'm a little inexperienced...but I'll work on everything you pointed out. Thanks for taking the time out to give me your opinions. I really appreciate it!

Not bad, heck I can even read it without my glasses.

Then again I could be imagining things.

Aaliyah,

A couple of points to make.

===========================
Browser version : 4.7
OS : WinNT
Speed : decent
Resolution : 800X600
===========================

1. In the site : I'm forced to scroll horizontally at my resolution. A big design no no, as it unfortunately shows the designer having a lack of concept of screen resolutions. Sorry to put it bluntly but if it scrolls, it forms a negative impression of the site on my mind. Thankfully this is easy to fix - just squash the text more.

2. How in the gawd-damn world do you expect people to know that if you run your mouse over the black space, that a collage of NSync will appear? This is worse than Mystery Meat Navigation - see http://www.webpagesthatsuck.com and you'll see precisely what I mean. In fact, your site could even go on to the 'Daily Sucker' just for that... (ouch)

That all said and done, the effect is very cool, but how the **** do you expect us to know?

3. Too much white space down the bottom of all the white pages.

4. Vincent's covered the rest.

That all said, I must say it's a very funky site. Now if you could just fix those niggly *cough**hack* problems up the top.....

I forgot to mention the scrolling part.
