Modernbill?

Anyone know a good program thats simalir to ModernBill, but that's cheaper, and better for someone starting off. I'm not looking for all the features, but just something to keep track of clients.

Thanks

You may wish to consider WHMAutoPilot (www.whmautopilot.com) and ClientExec (www.clientexec.com).

Good luck

Well you could try WhoisCart. www.whoiscart.net

On a side note, why does everyone think that MB is so expensive? If you don't want to buy it you can lease it for $25/mnth. If you do buy it you can get a 250 user license for $179. This is not that bad considering all the features you get.

Just my $.02

We use WHMAutoPilot and it has everything we need right now and some that we might need in the future. I recommend it.

My experience with whoiscart would be that you need to be quite good at finding out things yourself, and you must be literate in basic PHP and all

Whoiscart is cheap, powerful, but support documentation is quite hard to find, and it can be quite complicating at times to use it- changing the email templates requires you to feel your way around a few PHP and HTML files.

my vote would be for whmautopilot- things should be great once they launch 3.0 with the helpdesk (they say its going to be like perldesk)

My only problem with WHMAutoPilot is that is forces you to use cPanel for automation. Not everyone uses or likes cPanel. I use cPanel on one of my hosting sites but DirectAdmin on another so I would not be able to use WHM on my second site unless I did everything manually.

That brings me to a question, how are hosts with multiple web sites (different names and all) billing clients? Are you using one billing system across all site or multiple billing systems, one for each site?

Is this ModernBill that you are talking about? Because I was just reading that in the manual and it seems to be what I would need as well.
