I have heard there is a new 2CO customer interface (sign up pages) and was wondering if anyone is using it?
I would like to see if because I am trying to decide between 2CO and Paysystems.
Also anyone know how their admin. areas compare?
Thank you in advance for any info concerning these matters.

Hi there,
2CO new interface...
All visible links at http://www.2checkout.com/ are using the new interface since last month.
As for administrator & customer order page... I don't see any new interface...
Thanks.

I don't think there is a new interface unless they haven't implemented it. All that is new is their website design as KKHost.Net mentioned.

The new 2Checkout.com interface has yet to be mirrored to the admin pages.
I actually spoke to someone there regarding a fraud alert a few days ago, and this was brought up in the conversation. Apparently they are working on the admin pages but they will take more time (obviously) than the main website itself.
Now all they have to do is keep up the good run of luck they are having with the attacks, and they may gain some much needed respectability back.

There isn't any new design for the admin page as of yet.
And I agree with Cahl, they have not been visibly affected by attacks in quite some time. This is great for any host that use them as their sole 3rd party processor.

every day it seems someone posts asking "when ?", either here or on the 2CO forum
while some of us ( well me at least ) sit here gloating at having been using a static currency (not USD), with 2CO, for 7 months or more
I'd like to know "will there ever be an option to receive payments in our own (not USD) currency ?"

I believe that won't benefit you much as they might make the currency conversion slighly lower (I know many banks are doing this) to make sure they themselves are not losing to currency conversion.
Afterall, why don't you accept USD and withdraw the money from your bank only when you feel the conversion is "stable" or pro to your own currency?
Indeed, the new interface in their home directory is much more attractive. But I still hope them improving their customer support besides web interface
Thanks.

What happened to their design competition from 2003 or was it 2002? Where they offered $1000USD for the winner?

Hi,
2co.com is made just for customers but not vendors.

Beacuse I would like to use only Euro's, and not beeing forced to change prices daily to match Curr.Conversions = changing $ value to keep the price @ level of 10 €. (that's not static multicurrency payment, as someone other mentioned it.)
If they could give us what PaySystems (in terms of multicurrency) is offernig and keep footer/header option then they would be a winner

price items/services in your currency, then convert to USD as you send the customer over the 2CO gateway along with the quote= parameter that tells 2CO what currency you're charging in
the customer only ever sees and is charged in your currency eg €'s
unless 2CO pay us in our own currencies we will always lose out with the exchange rate fluctuations and bank charges.
in my case it really makes little difference whether they introduce default currency or not, it's just simpler than using scripts.
