United Hosting down?


they have been good in the past two months, what happend to them today? their site is down, my site is down, i spot check at alertra.com

this is the result

how about other users? i just uploaded some important file yesterday...no backup at home...sad man...

I wouldn't worry too much. They are about as solid of an operation as it gets IMO.

fuse1982: If you went to their forums in the Network & Server Status section you would see that they were doing server reboots after upgrading the kernels.

Hi,

We were doing a number of upgrades including kernals which required reboots on all 35 of our servers.

Downtime was minimal (as our alertra history confirms). We did announce in plenty of time on our customer forums, but apologies for any inconvenience these critical updates might have caused.
