alternative to 2co or paysystems - uk based?

Hi

I have searched for this information but can only find partial scattered answers, so I will create this thread.

I' am looking to leave 2checkout.com for another 3'rd party processor... so far I have only found paysystems...

What I am looking for is:

fees the same or less than 2checkout
around $50 or less for setup fee..

I am in the UK so having the ability to transfer the funds into pounds sterling (like paypal can) would be a great benefit, also low cost wires to UK banks... I can't for the life of me find a 'UK' alternative they all seem to be US based.... the wire fees are horrible with 2checkout to UK banks and the pay-in fees for $'s into a UK bank is just as bad... If anyone has any ideas/companys to check out , please let me know

We would recomend WorldPay. Although they are above your budget it's well worth it.

Alternatives are:-

www.datacash.com
www.secpay.com

Both are UK based.

WorldPay - www.worldpay.co.uk is UK based, but the setup fee is not within your requirements.

They often work out slightly more than the competition, but you do get what you pay for; reliable fast service, with good support.

If you don't mind paying the extra – I would recommend them.

Yeah worldpay is by far the best

Another good alternative is NetBanx.co.uk or .com, £500 set up and £10 a month minimum charges

secpay seems a little too cheap, £10 a month then 1.9% of transaction or 20p.. 2co takes more than £10 from me currently in fees..

I agree worldpay looks good... Spoke with them on the phone earlier.... set ups fees are a little scarey though.... why do they need to charge an extra £100 just so you can take subscriptions... I got this offer from them:

- £109 annual fee for first year (normally £160)
- £100 one off set up fee
- 3.95% per credit card (normally 4.5%)
- 50p per debit card
- 6p per transaction for WorldAlert
- Free WorldAccess (normally £100)

Take a look at ProtX. We just discovered and wished we had several years ago. It would have saved me a fortune!

Hmm interesting.. Thanks!

...But you need a merchant account too... would be a sweet deal if it was a merchant account or even a 2co kinda thing.
