Need Help with Backup!!


Who can help me out with configuration of backup??

I just got a second harddrive in my dedicated server for backup, but I need someone who can set it up for me, Iīm ready to pay for the service
I should mention that it have WHM/Cpanel

Here is what I want if possible:

Backup of all databases ones a day
Backup of all "Home" files ones a week (no rawlogs)

Go to WHM as root, then under backups, select configure backups. It can do what you want, and it is very easy to figure out. You should not have to pay for that

I am not sure that WHM provides the granularity that you are looking for. You could always set WHM to backup weekly, then create a cron job to backup the database on a daily basis.

Well once you back it up daily, it will backup weekly and monthly. The backup will be the full backup i.e not just the database. But if you backup using rsync, the load on the servers are not too bad during the backups, so it's not an issue to do it daily.

yes, but it only keeps one of each. You cannot get dailies from 2 days ago Unless it is the weekly
