iNET Toolbar
Anyone else think that is a horrible addition to the site?

Any specific reason you think it's horrible? Does it not fit the look of the site? Does it make it longer to load? etc...

I'd say it doesnt go to good with the look of the site, the silver against the blue...
I think it would look better if it was done in the same blues the wht header is done in..

I think it looks like crap. Makes me feel like I'm visiting one of those sites made by a 12 year old who thinks it cool to have a "network" of websites.
Horrible. What crap! Take it away. Stop changing the design. Geez.

Sorry, I think it just sort of looks like that spyware crap that Messenger Plus adds to your IE when you install their software. That's my only problem with it.
EDIT: The lighter colors next to the dark header makes my eyes go up from reading the content to staring at the bar.

Interesting. I like it. The design and colors perfect in my mind.

Those of you saying "Horrible. What crap! Take it away. Stop changing the design. Geez." - can you offer some suggestions, to make it look better, assuming that it's probably going to stay there?

I'd agree with AdminME. Maybe change the colors to the blues that the header uses.

I personally didn't notice it till I saw this thread.
But looking at it now, I'd have to say that it's not all that bad but it could be made to fit the site's theme better. Perhaps make the silver a bluish color like the rest of WHT.

Well, not sure I'm gonna use it.
We won't notice it in about 2-3 hours anymore but I don't think it's a good addition. If it was intended to make publicity for iNet, they should now do it without the linksCharles Beliveau | NymixWeb.com

I didn't notice it either. It's not bad, but five rows in the header is too much. The design is starting to get to that unprofessional state.

I don't believe that it is overly unpleasant, but it does look like the spyware additions that some companies like to sneak onto browsers.
I personally don't have a problem with it, with Firebird I can remove certain objects from a web site, so I don't mind it staying.
Although, it would be much nicer to have it at the bottom of these forums.

I'm fine with it, just that it'll take some time getting used to
Just a suggestion: It would be nice to have popup when selecting a site for the toolbar.█• Taskade - To-Do List & Tasks • All-in-One To-Do List & Mind Map App for Remote Teams

I am also fine with it as long it didn't affect much in term of loading speed and doesn't take up much of the header space. Whereby for the color combination with WHT color, it does looks like spyware as if in those IE when I am using windows... ... Maybe the color change to something that is suitable for WHT color such as blue, gray... ...

I thought I had some sort of spyware on my computer.
Common sense isn't so common.

Ya I say change the colors or get rid of it, too annoying with the silver vs blue...

Frankly, my dear...
I hadn't even noticed it and don't know how long it would have taken if this thread hadn't been started....
I think it is very unobtrusive and have no problem whatsoever with it.

At the very least they could change the colors to make it blend it with the design. As it is right now it looks like an absolutely horrible waste of space...
Of course if they completely removed it or even moved it to the bottom it would be much nicer...

It's intended to look like a browser toolbar, so the colors where chosen for that reason. Also, the toolbar is to look the same on all of our sites for consistency, so I doubt we will be changing the color scheme to match WHT. IMHO, the bar blends in so well with the grey toolbar of my browser, I hardly even noticed it was there. You can also just scroll down one click with your wheelmouse and it's hidden from view.

Not that anyone at iNet will probably care what the community thinks.. but I think it's in very poor taste..
I noticed it immediatley on refreshing my browser from earlier today..
it's a blatant attempt at advertising, there is already to much wasted space, this just adds to it..
why not just use the banner rotations, like rackshack did..IceCell Networks [an elite task force of hosting specialists]

Blends in fine, color wise, I think.
