So far we have been very happy with our current servers (from managed.com and a local company respectively) but neither of them allow IRC.
We are looking for a good dedicated or colocation company that allows IRC .
The reason were looking is that a number of customers have approached us looking for VPS irc solutions (that are value priced..) so were looking for budget dedicated servers that allow IRC and have the option to purchase additional IPS (we need about 10 usuable IPS per server).
I have heard people mention rack shack and foonet , but I was wondering if theres anything else I should look at.

I think NDC Technologies or something like that, I forget offers good pricing and IRC. Try going to www.ndctech.com I believe and try your luck there.

Hi,

I doubt rackshack will be any good for you, as you can't link to other networks so if one of your customers does that, you could end up having the abuse department of racksahck emailing you. Foonet is supposed to be good.

IRC networks: It is absolutely forbidden to host an IRC server that is part of or connected to another IRC network or server. Servers found to be connecting to or part of these networks will be immediately removed from our network without notice. The server will not be reconnected to the network until such time that you agree to completely remove any and all traces of the irc server, and agree to let us have access to your server to confirm that the content has been completely removed. Any server guilty of a second violation will result in immediate account termination.
