Hi David,
You will either have to walk them through the process of signing up for paypal, or you'll have to get yourself some sort of merchant account to accept payment.
If you are expecting high volume of credit card transactions moving forward, you may want to look at a "true" merchant account.
If you just expect the occassional credit card payment, maybe take a look at something like 2checkout, where you can send your customer a payment link.
Hope this helps...

Yeah, you could also give www.Plimus.com a try.
There's no setup fee and you can take the money you make and put it into your paypal account, or have it Mailed to you

How big a transaction is this? If it is a relatively small one and you won't be doing many of these, PayPal might be the easiest way to go.
But as mentioned earlier in this thread, if you'll be doing more of the same, you may want to invest in a merchant account. Especially if you're going to be doing larger tickets.
One of the negatives of PayPal is the required verification for someone to spend over a certain amount of money.

Also, you have to be verified in order to accept Credit card payments of any sort.
To become Verified you have to have a Checking Account.
