Can everyone please download this file (or at least a part of this file) and post the speed you reached when it stabilized on here as well as where you are downloading from...
Trying to test some filesystem tweaks to make faster transfer.
Thanks..
File :
http://testbed.mzima.net/freebsd5-1.tgz
Thanks!

Hello,
I used wget from my 10meg/sec server in Seattle WA and I'm getting just about 590 KB/sec or about 5megs/sec.
Thanks,

We're simply testing the actual speed of the filesystem (I think it maxes out at abut 5M/s honestly.)

hmm..I think I've decided that 4.53mbyte/s is about the max it'll do.
jcooper, anyway you can do a test from peer1-SJC? (mzima/peer1 peer so that would work well...)

Just under 8Mbps here in Detroit, on Verio PER request.
Opening 4 requests at once and I was pulling a little over 30Mbps.
