I want to wish Merry Christmas to all Orthodox Christian people, that use old calendar, on this Site (and worldwide)!!! (Also referred to as LITTLE CHRISTMAS)
Best wishes and prosperous New Year!!!
FYI: In some Orthodox Christian churches, such as Serbian, Russian and Yerusalem, Christmas is celebrated 13 days later than in the rest of christian world! So, Christmas is on 7th January, and New Year (we call it here "Serbian") start on 14th January!
Btw, on Christmas, when you meet somone, you should say him/her (insted of "Hi!" etc):
MIR BOZJI! HRISTOS SE RODI! ("God's peace! Christ is born!")
and he/she should answer you with words:
VOISTINU SE RODI! ("That is truth!")
and on 13th in the evening there will be great celebration of "Serbian" New Year in Belgrade and all Serbian cities! You all are invited!
The Dude
