Alpine Hosting down

This host has been down since about 2pm GMT

Has anyone on their other servers been affected by this downtime? Unfortunately their service status page is hosted in the same place and is therefore also down, despite this notice we were given upon signup:

*** NETWORK STATUS INFORMATION ***
In the event of a network issue that may cause your site to be unavailable we have set up an off server emergency information site and mailing list at http://www.alpinesupport.net

No we havent experienced any downtime in the past few days, or weeks for that matter, other than a quick reboot for a kernal upgrade on all servers.

The Alpine Support site is available from 2 servers, so perhaps youve were having local issues?

Feel free to contact me in regards to this

Hi Snowman, sorry for not getting back and updating this thread.

I'm not sure if local issues could have been to blame - myself and another person both could not access the site from different ISPs in the UK (BT and AOL). I presume as it came at the same time as the server reboot that it had either gone unnoticed for a while or taken a long time to be booted back into a useable state. This was documented on your support site after the event (server was Perisher).

Despite that, server speed has been great
