I wouldn't use them.

I tried them before just to sell some stuff of an old site of mine.

Its way to much the hassle.
People where asked to fax bunch of documents and what not

Just go with Paysystems or 2checkout

Yes, but... if their anti-fraud protection ends up losing sales for their merchants... merchants aren't going to be well served by it.

Case in point...

I had a bit of a frustrating experience with iKobo this week. Took me nearly a week to get them to verify us so that we could make an offshore payment to a contractor. (iKobo serves a number of countries that PayPal and others do not)

I ended up having to track them down through their WHOIS record to find a phone # to call them and navigate to a person who could finally assist.

If I was just a regular customer trying to make a payment - I would never have gone through that hassle. I would have selected another merchant and made the purchase elsewhere.

I have read so many negative experiments with both 2CO and PaySystems so I would rather try something new or something that works fine

Also does anybody use epassporte or stormpay ?

i cant find any useful data or even FAQs that can help me to understand something like fees about ePassporte

We've been using StormPay as a payment option for our clients since about August of last year. Their system is very similar to PayPal in the way it functions and they even offer an IPN plus all users automatically get an affiliate number to make money off referrals. So far, we have had no problems with their service. They recently raised their transaction fees which makes them a little high but still not too bad. Most fund withdraws to our bank account have been completed within 3-4 days (faster than PayPal) but it costs $2 to have them done and there is a $20 minimum withdraw.

I haven't has any dealings with epassporte.

I wouldnt use yowcow ...

I signed up for an account to pay fo an auction then they sent my usernam and password to me by email.

this is very poor practice and is going to cause alot of fraud as email is not at all secure

it passes through many servers unencripted so all a theif has to do is write a little prog to sniff for emails from yowcow and they have acces to your account.

also what about tose nasty email virus's that send out random stuff from your inbox......

yow cow has a long way to go....

So does allresell. they email your account and password...

I'm looking for a payment gateway that accept adult business, and allresell comes up. However, 15% charge when buyer add fun! who will use it to purchase?

compare to allresell, yowcow is cheaper. just wouldn't know if yowcow is trusable..

YowCow = FU

I have had to remove all YowCow references from my website today. I got an e-mail from a customer saying they were trying to buy a product and got a "The email address you provided is not a valid seller account." message.

For almost a year now I have been using YowCow but in the past couple months they have become very unreliable.

On 3/26/05 I ordered a withdrawal of $209.00 to be transferred into my bank account.
On 4/16/05 I ordered a withdrawal of $639.00 to be transferred into my bank account.
As of today, 6/4/2005 I have still not received $848.00 of my money that they are holding for no apparent reason.

YowCow has made excuses of "the Austrialian banks are not releasing the money to the US..." for months now.

YowCow has given me no notice of any kind as to why suddenly after having all of this money of mine that I am "not a valid seller".

If there was some problem I would think that they would have at least sent me an e-mail defining the nature of the problem and their desired solution.

Below is a copy of my account information taken from YowCow website today:

transact date customer amount fee to me acct balance status
Payment February 17 From: budt3 $35.00 $0.50 $34.50 $34.50 Complete These funds are available
Payment February 27 From: g051051 $175.00 $0.50 $174.50 $209.00 Complete These funds are available
Withdrawal March 26 To: YowCow withdrawals $209.00 Pending C
Payment March 27 From: adisper $500.00 $0.50 $499.50 $499.50 Complete These funds are available
Payment April 03 From: lwren $140.00 $0.50 $139.50 $639.00 Complete These funds are available
Withdrawal April 16 To: YowCow withdrawals $639.00 Pending C
As anyone can see - the 2 "pending" withdrawls range from 6-8 weeks in delay and total $848.00.

This should be a demonstration that YowCow is not acting in good faith and is a rip-off at best. Also, on the front page of their website and all of their correspondence they ONLY show e-mail addresses and a FAX number for their Austrailian headquarters. There is no "available" direct phone number to talk to a real human in Austrailia even if you were to stay up until the middle of the night to get them during "business hours."

I think it is despicable that they hide behind e-mail and FAX numbers and refuse to have a conversation with their customers.

Anyone with questions or possible solutions is invited to call me directly at 623-247-2129

Thanks and have a GREAT DAY!
Charley
