Aussie ABC is currently showing a 1988 Countdown show!

Oh maaaan, this is taking me back. Tina Turner, Uncanny Xmen, Cindy Lauper, Billy Joel and The Cochroaches.

Here's a true story - they toured Toowoomba [~16 years back] and my girlfriend's best friend got hit by their tour car, as they were leaving some radio station or something. They were trying to drive the car through a huge crowd at the radio station, and this girl got hit [more like bumped] by their car. The band visited her in hospital too.

This was back in Aussie Bob's skating days and my red Datsun 200b and Bon Jovi T-shirt.

Oh yeah... I forgot about RAGE..... they repeat countdown / GTK / rock arena etc... (they do it at this time of year, every year)
