Need yet another host-suggestions Please
First "finewebhost" goes to crap so I switched over to "un-named host for now"......cant get safe mode turned off. They moved to a new datacenter and my site still hasn't resolved over yet. It's only been a week but I am getting a bit frustrated. Tech is always online and answers usually very curteous, it just seems I get different answers some of the time.
I really need to get my site up and running ASAP because I host an online racing league and I need to have a BBS and points system in place quickly.
Current cost is a 9.99 special for 1gig space and 50g bandwidth unlimited email and sql.
Any suggestions on where to look for fast service?

Not for that price. Perhaps you have some smaller requirements that are a little more reasonable?

I'd lower your expectations for space and bandwidth, but leave your budget as is. You will have better luck.

I was just posting what I already have. I could probably get away with about 500-700megs but I do run a bulletin board and users do download allot of 3d files and car setups etc... maybe 30gig would suffice.

If you are using HostRocket then you might want to take a closer look to their Terms of Service.
For example:
"HostRocket servers are not to be used for the purpose of hosting scripts or images for data collection or any other purpose to reduce the load on another webhost, or for any other reason. Servers are not to be used for the hosting or serving of file downloads. Any site with traffic or disk usage consisting more than 33% of file downloads (non html traffic) may be suspended. HostRocket can and will terminate accounts of people using our servers not to host their domain but only scripts."
So if you do run a bulletin board and users do download allot of 3d files and car setups etc.. I think you will run into troubles with them.
Just my 2 euro cents.

It doesnt sound like based on his description of his problems that he is using us, we have not moved datacenters anytime recently.

Hello,
My suggestion would be to switch hosts as soon as possible. Not only because they cannot fix your problems, however also because of the pricing. Overselling as much as they are is only going to hurt your site's growth. I know who the host you're talking about is too.
