Here is the forum thread if anyone is interested:

http://forum.fastservers.net/forum/i...?showtopic=159

We have the situation stabilized now, though we have a stand-by GBIC at the ready that we'll be utilizing if problems resurface. And if that doesn't do the trick we'll have narrowed it down to Hurricane's GSR....

We'll keep you posted on the Fastservers forum as the situation develops. Status has been completely normal for about 60 minutes now and counting.

Is your site hosted within the same network, because I can't seem to get to it either. Seems a little pointless if that's the case...

Yes, very pointless indeed!

We have 1 server there that's not responding.

FWIW - I can't get there either (to that forum thread)

guess it is the same problem as the thread I posted - http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showth...hreadid=221353 - I just didn't have any way of knowing it was related to fastservers when I posted it - sorry for the apparent duplication.

(Forum IP for those of you that have lost resolution already....)

I should have provided that before, my bad. It's hosted at the Colo Exchange across the bay.

We're in the middle of swapping out GBICs now, and potentially the line cards as well in both of the affected GSRs.

Talk to you soon!

You have a redirect htaccess possibly which still makes it not able to be loaded for those without resolution (Like us 45 minutes from the DC)

I noticed this and posted at 10am.. I saw that you guys new this for 90 minutes from when I posted.. so that means we have had problems in this for over 4 hours??

I understand that this happens but 3+ hours sure seems like a long time??

Hi,
It would be nice to tell us approximately when the network will be back online.

At least we will have something to tell our clients.

Thanks
